Although I do have a few original series works on this list, most of what you’ll find here is fanfiction from the Star Trek movie series, which is considered Alternate Universe to the television series.

What starts as a fun project to poke fun at the senior crew quickly devolves into a revealing breach of privacy, and the pair find themselves wondering if they’ll ever be able to earn their captain’s trust again.

Academy Series by Mijan
Summary from first story: Christopher Pike wasn’t supposed to be in Iowa, but there he was, weighing his future against scales that would never balance. Jim Kirk had given up on his future long ago. Leonard McCoy’s past had been pulled out from underneath him, and he was ready to let his future go with it. Summary: Yorktown is safe, Krall has been defeated. But that doesn’t mean that everything it good again. Exacerbating his injury saving Kirk, Spock is left in a dangerous position as he continues to lose precious blood, a blood type that Yorktown doesn’t have a supply of, further complicated by the infection setting in due to the use of the heat seal. Have they come this far, just to lose Spock after all of that?

McCoy was working on stopping the progress of the damage and getting Jim stabilized. This story compliment’s Shoreleave’s VENOM and is an addendum to what happened once McCoy and Kirk were rescued.
